The Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Technologies Office (AMMTO) and Industrial Efficiency & Decarbonization Office (IEDO) will be conducting a joint Peer Review to evaluate their strategic and operational effectiveness.

In October 2022, the Advanced Manufacturing Office (AMO) at the Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy was reorganized into AMMTO and IEDO to reflect the national urgency of both domestic manufacturing competitiveness and industrial decarbonization. The Joint Peer Review will review the offices strategies through forward-looking presentations on their project portfolios and priorities, poster sessions highlighting performers of current activities, and stakeholder engagement. Leading technology experts from the industrial and academic sectors have been invited to review the offices’ strategies independently, in relationship to each other, and in relationship to DOE.
