The U.S. Department of Energy’s Bioenergy Technologies Office (BETO) is hosting the 2023 Project Peer Review on April 3-7, 2023, at the Grand Hyatt Denver in Colorado. Approximately 280 projects in BETO’s research, development, and demonstration portfolio will be presented to the public and systematically reviewed by more than 50 external subject-matter experts from industry, academia, and federal agencies.
The 2023 Project Peer Review will include eight simultaneous review sessions of projects within the 11 technology areas highlighted below:
- Advanced Algal Systems
- Biochemical Conversion and Lignin Utilization
- Agile BioFoundry
- Catalytic Upgrading
- Carbon Dioxide Utilization
- Data, Modeling and Analysis
- Performance-Advantaged Bioproducts, Bioprocessing Separations, and Plastics
- Organic Waste Conversion
- Feedstock Technologies
- Feedstock-Conversion Interface Consortium
- Systems Development & Integration

Our room block at the Grand Hyatt Denver is now closed but we have an overflow hotel room block at the Hilton Denver City Center (located 1 block from the event hotel) at the group rate of $199 plus taxes (same as government per diem) on the nights of April 1-7, 2023. Reservations must be made by Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Reservations are on based on availability and cannot be guaranteed at the group rate after this date or until we fill our room block, whichever comes first. REGISTRATION
Registration for this peer review event is $355. This provides you attendance for all five days. The registration fee is the same whether you attend one day or all five.
