The 2023 Department of Energy (DOE) Building Technologies Office (BTO) Peer Review will be held on April 24-28, 2023, at the DoubleTree Crystal City (300 Army Navy Drive, Arlington, VA 22202). In this annual review, independent experts will assess the impact and progress of BTO's active research, development, validation, and systems integration projects. BTO will also showcase key initiatives like Advanced Building Construction, Building America, Healthy Buildings, etc. through special sessions. The meeting will also provide an opportunity to promote collaborations and partnerships.
Accommodations
Our sleeping room block at the DoubleTree is now full. We have an overflow room block at the Hilton National Landing, 2399 Richmond Highway, Arlington, VA 22202. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle between the hotel and Ronald Reagan National Airport and we have discounted parking of $20 per night. Hilton National Landing Overflow Room Block
Hilton National Landing will provide one shuttle to and one shuttle from the BTO Peer Review each day:
Please be in the lobby of the Hilton National Landing at 8:10am for a prompt 8:15am departure to the DoubleTree Crystal City.
Please meet at the front entrance of the DoubleTree at 6pm for a prompt 6:05pm departure to the Hilton National Landing Shuttle
Hotel Arrival Information
Please note that the DoubleTree Crystal City offers a free shuttle to and from Ronald Regan National Airport. The hotel is only a four (4) block walk from the Pentagon City Metro Station.
DoubleTree Crystal City Shuttle Information:
The hotel uses white shuttle vans with DoubleTree Crystal City in brown letters and Embassy Suites in green letters on the side.
Seating is on a first come first served basis; the hotel recommends being in the departure area 5 minutes early.

Metro
The Pentagon City Metro station is only a four block walk to the DoubleTree Crystal City.
Yellow line service is suspended between Pentagon and L'Enfant Plaza, through May 31, 2023, but stations will still be served by the blue line.
Additional DC Metro Area Airports
In addition to Reagan National there are two other airports, Dulles International and Baltimore-Washington International (BWI), in the DC metro area. Please note that these airports are located approximately 25miles (Dulles) and 45 miles (BWI) from the hotel.
DoubleTree Crystal City Parking
Parking at the hotel is $42 for overnight self-parking. We have a discounted parking rate of $25 per day (includes overnight parking. When you checkin to your hotel room, let them know you are here for the BTO Peer Review and they will apply the discounted rate to your hotel bill. For all local attendees, you can pick up the discount ticket at the registration desk. It must be used in conjunction with the ticket you receive when you pull into the parking garage.)
