The U.S. Department of Energy’s Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office (HFTO), in collaboration with NOW GmbH (Germany), the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (Japan), and the European Commission invites you to the 9th International Workshop on Hydrogen Infrastructure for Transportation
 

The aim of the 9th International Workshop on Hydrogen Infrastructure for Transportation is to convene government, industry, and research stakeholders from the United States, Japan, Germany, and the European Union to share knowledge on the state of hydrogen infrastructure technologies serving the transportation sector, as well as discuss best practices and pathways for advancing the development and deployment of these technologies. The workshop will feature presentations and discussions on hydrogen infrastructure in the heavy-duty transportation sector, with a special focus on safety, reliability, and scale-up challenges. ACCOMMODATIONS 
Irvine Marriott located at 18000 Von Karman Avenue, Irvine, CA 92612 is now full. 

For those staying at the Irvine Marriott the hotel offers a shuttle that runs on a constant loop daily between the hotel and John Wayne Airport (SNA). Shuttle times:

From the Hotel:

  • Every half hour starting at 5am until 11pm
  • Example: 5am, 5:30am, 6am, 6:30am etc.

From John Wayne Airport (SNA):

  • Every :15 and :45 of every hour starting at 7am until 11:15pm
  • Example: 7:15am, 7:45am, 8:15am, 8:45am etc.
  • Shuttle picks up at the ground transportation level across from pillars 5 & 6

OVERFLOW HOTEL
The Residence Inn Irvine John Wayne Airport/Orange County room block is now closed. 
The Residence Inn does not offer an airport shuttle. It is located 3 miles from the airport.

PARKING
The Irvine Marriott is offering our group discounted overnight self-parking of $25 per vehicle, per night. Please let the hotel know when you check in if you are parking a vehicle, in order to get the discounted rate. Your room key will allow you to access the gate entrance and exit.

The Residence Inn has a self-parking rate of $15 per vehicle, per night.

At the University the best place to park is the Anteater Parking Structure. The University has set up a ParkbyPlate for our group. The cost to park is $15 per day. Please go to the link and complete the information for each day you will be parking.

Anteater Parking Structure is located on the corner of East Peltason and Anteater Drive. Entrance into the Anteater Parking Structure is on Anteater Drive. Please visit http://www.parking.uci.edu/maps/ to view a campus map for more information.
